Tutoring
Similarly, if you have good qualifications and talent why not start up a tutoring business, for example in maths, English or languages, or even musical instruments such as the guitar or piano? Study at home
One way of broadening your horizons even further is to do some studying. Most colleges offer part-time courses and many offer online learning courses that can be studied at home.

Could this article, or website, be any more patronising or do more to perpetrate unhelpful stereotypes? Childminding as a recommended career option for mothers? What a revolutionary idea for challenging perceptions of women as second class citizens in the professional world.
Isabelle, thank you so much for stirring up the discussion a bit. Some of us just have to earn money, I guess, in whichever stereotyped job that might be. Secondly I find that in the typical female professions, such as teaching, nursing and administration there seem to be a lot more flexible jobs on offer. Recently accounting has also gone more flexible.
Stereotyped for sure. But realistic too. I am all for creating your own flexible job and just forging ahead in your chosen career path. Read more about it here
